ULTRASTAT – THE FUTURE OF STATIC CONTROL IN SPRAY PAINTING

The new UltraStat gun is set to revolutionise the spray-painting process by drastically reducing the attraction of dust particles in areas where paint is drying. This issue often leads to costly rework in body shops due to defects in the finish.

The UltraStat gun comes with several innovative features designed for ease of use in the workshop. Its advanced static control unit is cordless, offering up to 10 hours of operation on a single charge. Additionally, it includes an inline air regulator that ensures optimal air pressure, meeting international electrical safety standards. The gun is manufactured to comply with the highest industry regulations and comes with a one-year warranty.

The UltraStat works by ionising air cushions, which neutralise solvent vapours during panel resprays – functioning similarly to a spray gun. For best results, the gun should be held approximately 150mm to 450mm from the surface to achieve a flawless finish.

Neil Butterworth, Global Sales and Marketing Director for UltraStat, explains that by eliminating the static pull-on dust particles, the air cushion ensures a perfect result every time. This anti-static technology is already used in vehicle production lines globally, helping manufacturers eliminate dust and other imperfections that can affect paint quality.

The lightweight unit is supplied with its own dedicated charger and a convenient carry bag.
