RECENT NATIONAL INDASA TRAINING WITH LUXOR PAINTS
Sixty Luxor distributors recently attended an exclusive international programme for INDASA which was held at the impressive Hurricane Training centre along with INDASA’s team from Portugal. The event showcased the INDASA product range, as well as their successful relationship with Luxor Paints.
Delegates were treated to a hands-on performance on the INDASA product range. The national roll out also covered the Durban and Cape distribution markets, which were also well supported. Luxor plan to increase sales for the highly innovative dust-free solutions from INDASA in these regions as well.
Daniel Cruz, Global Business Development Manager, and Humberto Plácido, Group Technical Manager, demonstrated INDASA’s various high-performance systems that offer process savings across the board. He outlined the brand’s expansion over the past 44 years right from the development of Rhyno Abrasive Systems.
Founded in 1979, INDASA is now one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of high performance coated abrasive technology based in Aveiro, Portugal. The company have stayed ahead of modern development in new refinish solutions, as well as vehicle manufacture, to always get the best from their abrasive option for any job. INDASA offer a wide range of abrasive solutions from RhynoWet white line and Plus Line, Rhynalox, Ultravent, and Rhynogrip Mesh Line and HT Line, as well as a range of power tools including the new orbital sander PRO-XS to mention a few.
Their latest HT Ceramic is formulated to tackle the most challenging substrates. It delivers a prolonged increase in durability along with vastly improved anti-clogging capabilities using a unique self-sharpening abrasive design. This product is currently ramping up to supply demand, and you can expect to see the product by the end of the year.
Kevin Lurie, MD for Luxor Paints, outlined the recent successes of the company becoming the top value brand in 2023, 2024 and 2025. He is pleased that the various company brands are recognised for their outstanding performance locally, in Africa, and beyond. Luxor Paints are all the while pioneering a whole new product range that will meet distributor and customer needs for all things automotive repair related.
