LUXOR PAINTS VISIT INDASA IN PORTUGAL
As part of the strategic and exclusive partnership between Luxor Paints and Indasa Abrasives, a technical and commercial visit was made by the Luxor team to Indasa’s headquarters in Portugal.
With a view to strengthening Luxor’s new sales teams in the non-paint product sector as well, this visit involved a rigorous programme covering product training and an understanding of the company’s industrial, commercial and technical operations.
The programme lasted five days and was divided into various parts. The extended product range training session sparked discussions about new products such as the HT Line, Mesh Line, IMS Mixing Cups, and the HT Line Ceramic.
There was a visit to the “A Grade” market, including the opportunity to visit a Toyota and Lexus body shop operating under the Indasa Process to Profit programme. This was very informative on how the local industry works in Portugal as well.
A visit to multi-brand and Indasa-branded distribution points that partner with Indasa implementing the Process to Profit in the marketplace also took place. A social and cultural programme covering the main points of interest in the city of Aveiro – where Indasa is headquartered – and Porto was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.
This visit follows on from a process of strengthening Luxor Paint’s market position with a world-class range of abrasives, polishing products, masking materials and complementary tools for surface preparation.
Managers from Indasa and Luxor Paints are unanimous in their assessment of the visit’s success, which now serves as a springboard for new initiatives involving Indasa products in the South African market in the coming months.
