EAZY PAINT AND HENKEL TECHNOLOGY TRAINING DAY
The technical and front-line sales team from Eazy Paint recently received an update on world-class seam-sealing and multi-purpose sealant application methods at the company’s Pomona distribution hub centre.
Henkel, which operates a state-of-the-art mobile training centre, took time out to offer extended, hands-on training on how to use its top-selling range, including the latest sealant formulation, MS9320.
This user-friendly product offers health advantages, as it is isocyanate-free and based on silicone polymer technology developed by Henkel. It enables any body shop to easily replicate both standard-size beads and very wide stream beads – now commonly seen in modern vehicle storage boots and engine bays. “It is simple to achieve OEM-look seam textures,” says Delia Jackson, from Eazy Paint.
Thanks to its fast tack-up time of approximately 10 to 20 minutes when used with professional pneumatic dispensers, it is easy to work with. The Powerline II gun and the ET Air Gun Multi Press were tested by more than 20 staff and technical sales personnel, consistently delivering professional results. When the Teroson VR20 surface preparation system is used, the one-part sealant also helps to reduce waste.
