BIG FIVE ACCIDENT REPAIR CENTRE – AN AWARD WINNING BUSINESS
You wouldn’t consider being in a car accident fortuitous, but it was the starting point of a life changing moment for Mano Nayager, owner of Big Five Accident Repair Centre. He was employed by the panelbeater that repaired his vehicle and the rest is history.
Fast forward a couple of decades, where Mano continued to learn while working in the collision repair sector, he decided to open Big Five Accident Repair Centre in Durban and become the captain of his own ship. They have recently received the best panelbeater award from “Best of Durban” – so he and his team are most definitely doing many things exceptionally well.
The centre’s reputation is built on a steadfast commitment to quality, with personalised service as one of its core principles. Whether it’s handling warranty work or servicing a large base of insurance repair clients, Big Five Accident Repair Centre has earned its spot as a leader in the industry. This dedication to excellence is further exemplified by a strong leadership team, including Mano’s wife, Jayshree, and daughter, Nikita, who manage customer care operations.
The workshop itself is a testament to the high standards of professionalism and efficiency that define Big Five Accident Repair Centre. With its vast, open-plan workspaces, repairs are meticulously benchmarked against original equipment standards.
It has taken 36 years of relentless attention to detail to achieve this level of expertise, with the workshop now processing around 40 repairs per week, thanks to the efforts of a dedicated team of 52 skilled professionals.
Big Five’s choice of PPG as their preferred refinishing system reflects their commitment to standards and sustainability. The Envirobase® High Performance paint system utilises state-of-the-art technology to deliver enhanced durability and best-in-class colour accuracy.
Big Five Accident Repair Centre stands behind its workmanship with a 10-year guarantee. It’s this combination of premium materials and expert craftsmanship that sets the centre apart. “Customers choose us because we offer more than just repairs,” says Mano. “We use genuine parts, restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, and bring our specialist knowledge to every job.”
