VW FLEET ADMINISTRATOR CONVICTED OF 595 FRAUD CASES IN PORT ELIZABETH SCHEME
Christo de Jager was recently convicted by the Gqeberha specialised crimes court for a seven-year fraud scheme. He submitted fake invoices through approved repair centre Autotrust, resulting in over R12 million in losses before VW uncovered the discrepancies during an internal audit and arrested him in March.
