BMW ACCIDENT REPAIR CENTRES UPDATED ON COMPACT COLORSYSTEM SPECTROPHOTOMETER
Hot on the heels of the successful launch of the BMW Group’s new ColorSystem, with Axalta technology on the inside, their latest ColorSystem Spectrophotometer has been introduced.
Training has stepped up a gear at Axalta for the BMW Approved Repair Centres (ARC). The ColorSystem Spectro assists in keeping pace with some estimated 100 000 updated vehicle colour formulas now on offer from global car makers.
The latest lightweight Spectro design offers a new standard of colour accuracy as it measures multiple angles of the colour to be matched, as well as finish effects seen in metallic and xirallic pearl coatings.
At the same time, it gives a painter a complete formula in one go which saves valuable time and money. Connected technology means that the colour data becomes accessible instantly for whoever needs it in the team of. So, whether you are using a laptop, tablet or smartphone, workflow can be expressed dramatically with colour accuracy at your fingertips.
The new compact ColorSystem Spectro has an easy-to-read bright screen with clear and legible icons to make it a simple process to follow.
The selected formula on a colour match gives an operator complete control and is complete with the full spectrum of colour management software.
The formulas are updated immediately when connected to the internet, complete with customer data and cloud back-up facilities. Extremely quick accurate colour identification is a positive result.
